NICKEL SULPHIDE AND COPPER EXPLORATION IN A WORLD CLASS DISTRICT

MAGNA MINING IS A SUDBURY-FOCUSED BASE METAL EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY

The company was formed in 2016 and in early 2017, acquired Ursa Major Minerals, a private company that owned the past producing Shakespeare Mine and Shining Tree project. Shakespeare is situated 70 km to the south-west of the Sudbury Basin.  Magna has since assembled a contiguous land package of over 180km², much of which has seen little exploration work and yet remains prospective for further nickel, copper and PGM discoveries.

THE SHAKESPEARE PROJECT – A KEY STRATEGIC ASSET WITH SIGNIFICANT EXPLORATION UPSIDE

We believe that our permitted and past producing Shakespeare project, along with a large surrounding exploration property package, represent a unique opportunity to create a significant, Sudbury focused nickel, copper and PGM company.

Magna Mining has 2 key objectives, which are to grow the existing resource at Shakespeare and to make new regional discoveries. In 2021 the company are planning to achieve this through the execution of the first significant exploration program on this land package in more than 15 years.

SUDBURY – A WORLD CLASS MINING DISTRICT

The Sudbury region has arguably contributed more to mineral development in Canada than any other single location in the country. The geological prospectivity of the region and supporting infrastructure developed over the last 100 years mean that Sudbury has become one of the worlds most significant producers of Class 1 Nickel.

WORLD-CLASS GEOLOGY

As one of the world’s most significant producers of Class 1 nickel, Sudbury’s mines are crucial suppliers to manufacturers of batteries for electric vehicles (EVs).

ACTIVE MINING REGION

Sudbury has 10 producing nickel mines that employ over 14,000 people in the mining sector.

OVER 1.7B TONNES MINED

• 40B lbs of nickel • 36B lbs of copper • 70M oz of PGM + Au • 283 M oz Ag

GLOBAL MINING HUB

The region acts as a hub of mining technology and service providers required to take a project from exploration to production.

SOCIAL LICENCE

The communities and stakeholders in the region are supportive of mining and exploration.
