JASON JESSUP, MBA
CEO & Director
Mr. Jessup co-founded Magna Mining in 2016, and has over 24 years of experience in the mining industry in both operations management and corporate roles. He has spent the majority of his career in the Sudbury region, working for both Inco and FNX, and led the operations team that brought the Morrison Deposit into commercial production. Mr Jessup is a graduate of The Haileybury School of Mines and has an MBA from Athabasca University.
PAUL FOWLER, CFA
Senior Vice President
Mr. Fowler is an experienced capital markets professional who has worked with publicly listed Canadian mining companies for over 15 years. He has previously held investment banking, corporate finance and equity sales positions for several Canadian banks and brokerages, including National Bank Financial and Paradigm Capital.
DAVID KING, M.Sc., P.Geo
Senior Vice-President
David King is a registered professional geologist with more than 25 years of base and precious metal experience, focused on both mining production and exploration. Mr. King most recently served as Vice President, Exploration and Geoscience for TMAC Resources Inc, and prior to that was Senior Manager, Geoscience and Mineral Resources of KGHM International Ltd (previously FNX Mining Company).
ANN-MARIE FINNEY, MBA
CFO
Ann-Marie has over 25 years of experience in treasury and finance roles in the mining and renewable power sectors. Her prior responsibilities have included corporate finance, capital market activities, project financings, treasury operations and financial analysis. Ms. Finney is a mining engineer and holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
DR. MYNYR HOXHA, Ph.D, P. Geo
Vice President of Exploration
Dr.Hoxha has 30 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry, with over 10 years working in the Sudbury Basin for FNX Mining. He has a PhD in Structural Geology and was responsible for the discovery of numerous deposits at the McCreedy West Mine throughout his tenure there. Currently he is the Chief Geologist at Alamos Gold’s Young-Davidson Mine.
MARSHALL HALL, M.Sc., P.Geo
Exploration Manager
Mr. Hall is an experienced exploration geologist who joined Magna in 2018. He has been instrumental in the compilation of the historic Shakespeare data and the development of the new Shakespeare geological model. Marshall has 16 years of experience in Sudbury geology, and previously worked for Wallbridge Mining.
